Whose got a plan for getting the 30th Anniversary Pokèmon box tomorrow?
Not me! But I have a late-20s friend who is going with his mom and teenaged sister at 9PM tonight to get in line at Best Buy because they insist on going and he’d rather them not be by themselves. MIght I also mention it was 96 degress when I was out this afternoon!! And humid!!
I can’t even imagine choosing to be outide on warm concrete all night for any reason. May they be VERY happy with the boxes they get!

I have 2 regular ETBs, 2 Pokémon Center ETBs, 2 Sticker Collections and 1 poster collection coming. Once the booster bundles release I’ll have 2 of those as well. I plan on opening the 2 regular ETBs and maybe a few others. The rest I’ll keep sealed.

It’s too hard to keep things sealed, but I will say the pokemon sealed products carry so much value, I get it. With that being said, all 4 boxes would be open if I had them haha

Gotta get in on the Pokémon Center drops. That’s the best way to get some.

I have an account there, but are there any steps to take to get the notifications of product drops?

So you have to get on the site and wait in a queue when the new product drops. I have a friend that is part of a notification discord that texts me when the drop is live. Most times you have to stay in the queue for over an hour.

Ah, now I get it! I thought there had to be some hoops to jump through with these products being in such demand

well not this guy.. pokemon isnt my main focus and im so lost to what to collect or go after. i know i know collect my fav pokemon.. well i like to many

I went through oline looking at all of the cards in this set and the vast majority of my favorites aren’t in it. So I don’t feel I’m missing a lot

Interesting. I’m now wondering if the October releases are going to include more of the characters. I hope so. I had read that this first release was limited and to get the most bang for your buck to wait until the later releases. Just looking at this set just released it seems that’s good advice

those art ones are total fire.. heck all the cards are fire. i should have gotten into pokemon years ago

I was only able to get about 6 packs of 30 year through a poster pack and some coin packs. I promised my sister I’d open them with her because she couldn’t get any haha I’ll share if we hit anything from them.
