BIG WIN for the PC! 🐅🔥
Finally landed this 2020 Panini Chronicles Joe Burrow Clear Vision Purple rookie, and this one was a card I really wanted. /49 and a PSA 9. The Clear Vision design is just nasty, and having it in a slab just looks insane!
Burrow is one of those guys where I’d much rather own a cool, low-numbered rookie like this than chase every new release that comes out.
And being a Cincinnati guy, this one hits a little different.
Definitely one of those pickups where I’m sitting there afterward thinking… yeah, I’m really happy I pulled the trigger on that one.

I picked up the 2026 Leaf Anime Nation Fernando Mendoza. Sent it off to Degree for grading and got a 9 on it. Will look nice in my PC for sure.

I did not customize the color. I sent it off before that was a thing. Then when it came back it had the wrong year on the tag so it’s currently back with Degree for corrections. Should be headed back to me soon and I’ll post pics when it arrives.

The process itself was relatively easy. It *was* and exercise in patience though. Took forever to get a response from them and then just as long to get the prepaid label to send it back. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how fast the correction has gone.

That’s great to hear it was taken care of. It’s amazing they don’t have dedicated people to respond to issues.

That’s a pretty cool PC card, especially with the 9. Hopefully the corrected slab makes its way back quickly. I’d definitely be curious to see it once you get it back—Leaf cards can look really sharp in a slab.

For sure! There’s something extra satisfying about finally grabbing a card that’s been sitting on your want list for a while. Those are usually the pickups that end up meaning the most in the PC. Appreciate it! 🙌

Yeah, sometimes you just look at the card and wonder what the grader was seeing 😂. It looks super clean to me. A 10 would’ve definitely felt right, but I’m still happy with a 9 if it’s a card I really wanted for the PC.

yeah and thats all that matters. its gonna sit in your pc for a long time. 9s still good even 8s heck i think even lower grades are fine depending on the card

Same here until I came across it! Then it immediately hit my Wishlist. That’s one of the things I love about collecting—there are always cards you’ve somehow never seen before. Definitely one that caught my eye right away.

The clear visions are awesome! As a Buffalo guy my grail is my PSA 10 Josh Rated Rookie. These past 2 weeks have helped that card a bunch lol

Absolutely! Allen has been an absolute beast. 😂 When a guy is producing like that, it makes those cards in the PC feel a whole lot better. Definitely a fun time to be holding one!

I think he will! Zac Taylor kinda needs to get it together, but high hoped for Joe. I grabbed a PSA 9 Prism Black RC of his a month or 2 ago

100% 😂 A healthy Burrow with even a halfway competent offensive line is a completely different problem. The guy can absolutely sling it, but he’s spent way too much of his career running for his life.

Absolutely. I think Burrow has shown enough to know what he can do when he’s healthy and has some protection. I’m just hoping the Bengals can keep him upright and give him a chance to really get rolling

Yeah he can sling it. That LSU team was a top 3 college team of all time

Absolutely. Burrow was ridiculous that season . That LSU team had so many future NFL guys on it that it felt like an NFL roster playing college football. Jefferson, Chase, Burrow, Clyde, Queen, Delpit… just loaded from top to bottom. That 2019 team is definitely one of the first ones that comes to mind when talking about all-time great college teams

Yep! That Alabama backfield was ridiculous 😂. Derrick Henry and Mark Ingram were definitely two of them. The third was Trent Richardson — that’s an absolutely insane group of running backs to have come through the same program. And that’s not even getting into all the other NFL talent Alabama was putting out.
