Week 3 Updates
How’d everybody’s teams do this week? (Aside from Bears/Eagles obviously)
As a Bills fan, that was tough, but we’ll categorize it as “a wins a win”
Any players peak your interest to target more of? For me personally it’s Sonny Styles. Going to be keeping an eye out on his cards for sure, as I only have 2 currently.
With the Bowman drop this week, I’m excited to see what everybody pulls! Might have to organize a trade night on here for those of us that might want to trade some lower end stuff out of Bowman for our PC’s

Cowboys had a good game and a rough loss but all that matters is that Texas won lol

I’m a Cowboys hater I’ll be honest lol. That Texas/Tennessee game was an awesome game. Texas tried to give that game away so many times. But that was a fun watch! Most of my coworkers are based in Austin so I hear about Texas all the time lol

Most people are Cowboys haters so I am used to it by now lol and yeah I was expecting us to not do good that game cause Texas has been awful on the road lately

It was definitely a little sloppy. But Tenn is a scrappy team. Arch is a Rollercoaster ride lol

Yeah he has his moments for sure. Lucky for him I’m a big fan of rollercoasters lol

He is still getting the wins! I want him to win it all this year and do well. Like I said before it will be fun to see him exceed expectations, plus it will make the chase for all his cards that much more fun. I want to see next years class to be as exciting as 2025. 2026 is just okay in my opinion.

Yeah we will see how he keeps doing. If it goes the way I think its going to go its going to be Texas vs Georgia for the SEC

That will be exciting. Hard to say Georgia is not going to come out on top, but I guess anything can happen.

A lot of surprises so far and if Arch gains the experience and confidence with each win, it can be done!

Yeah he has the experience its more so he just needs to breath and not get so hyped up

Agreed. That’s why I think if he keeps winning the big moments will affect him less. That must be crazy when you have those expectations and hype to live up to.

I am anxiously waiting on my Bowman package to get here too! I’d be down to participate in a trade night

Like a kid on Xmas Eve lol. Got a hobby and 2 megas on the way. Such a good college class this year so it makes it super exciting. Need a Jeremiah Smith, Mensah, or Carr!

I missed the drop for Bowman Baseball hobby boxes so I had to make up for it lol

I just ordered 2 megas and 2 value boxes. Took the limit they allowed. I still couldn’t pull the trigger on the hobby even though I know the hits could be better and guaranteed. I think this will be the content for my first actual long form video on youtube. I usually just add shorts, but I finally have the set up complete. Can’t wait to see what everyone gets from their boxes! Trading sounds fun!

For sure! Always like to see someone make out on the box gamble. I think with a lot of us buying a few boxes each, there are bound to be some decent hits!

I’m not complaining about the Raiders being 3-0, but it would be sort of nice if they’d just win one in a dominant fashion rather than making it a close one every week.

For sure. I was just telling my son today that I hope that doesn’t turn into a Sam Darnold in Minnesota sort of situation where he’s supposed to just play a year or two to get the rookie up to speed, then leaves and the rookie isn’t any good.
I don’t think that will happen with Mendoza, but nobody thought it would happen with McCarthy either and now he’s only worth a 5th rounder to the Giants…-
Yeah that would be horrible if it happened cause Mendoza is a good player. I get letting him learn but like you said its happened before. Also wild McCarthy was only worth a 5th makes me think Vikings intended on cutting him soon

No one can predict the future, but I think Mendoza is going to be a good quarterback and def better than McCarthy.

The Giants also just gained a backup cause I think Jameis is staying as the starter

I am very excited about the prospect of Jameis continuing to play well this season. Hate to see someone get injured, but I am hopeful he can make the best of this situation.

It is nice to see him playing well. Raiders 3-0 is not what expected, but it’s good to see them playing well. Maybe they can give some of that mojo to the Bucs haha It is a tough watch so far this season.

The Bucs losing and then seeing Baker get hurt was the one two punch for us fans. Imagine if Daniels comes in and plays well after that huge contract for Baker? Great for the fans of course, but maybe that will motivate Baker. I don’t think it’s all Baker’s fault but that’s the natural reaction when you pay a player and especially is he’s the QB.

That was kind of nuts. Seems like a lot of qbs are getting injured here early on

I agree. Injuries are part of the game, but QB’s going down each week seems to be the theme this year.

League wide its been qbs and for the Cowboys its been our defensive players. Making an already tough adjustment to a new defensive coordinator tougher

And then if the injured defense doesn’t play well everyone will say “the coordinator sucks” haha

Yeah like all of ESPN who hates the cowboys, well mainly Stephen A, its like damn yall know theres injuries and its a new DC but you just hate to hate

There is no bigger cowboys hater than Steven A haha if they lose he puts on the cowboy hat and can’t stop laughing.

It is pretty funny to watch though cause as annoying as it is he makes it entertaining sometimes

Haha, yep, the Bucs fan experience in a nutshell. 😂 You get your hopes up, start thinking “maybe this is the year,” and then football finds a way to humble you.

Ah I see what you did there haha now the Brady hate comes out from the cowboys fan haha there’s a little (all in fun) hate when it comes to sports. Tom Brady and Gronk brought us Bucs fan a lot of joy!

To be fair the last team Tom Brady lost to was the Cowboys in the playoffs

They did and then after Tom Brady’s miserable game Dak went on to lead the Cowboys to their first super bowl win since 1995. I remember it so well, ESPN finally got their preseason pick right they make every year! lol jk love you buddy

I agree, It was great for him to win one without Bill. Plus it was fun to see Gronk come back and play with him too.

Gronk was honestly the missing piece in the 2nd and 3rd year that kept Tampa from winning more

dont think any team had starters play in the preseason much if at all. i mean i get it dont need your best blown out before the season really starts but shesh. they need to pull it togethar and get cordinated

So most teams have their starters play a drive or two in the preseason

yeah i figured that. but some of the teams it seemed like a blur of the starter being in .. but it is early still and some teams and players will bounce back and spring forward.

Yeah by the time the Cowboys defense is at full strength again it will still be a struggle adjusting to the new coordinator

Yeah because since preseason is shorter they need reps now more than they did before

Yeah them cutting the preseason down to 3 weeks made them put the starters in

Honestly it’s def helped cut down on injuries too

And the AFC north is a complete mess. every team stinks right now.
