As a Sabres fan always looking for my guys. Especially vintage. Love my Pat LaFontaine and Hasek cards. One problem with the hockey market on modern stuff is its so heavily leveraged on Young Guns and the premier stuff like The Cup sets that have a big price tag

yeah i was looking at things recently and getting back into hockey which was my first love of sports.. and it seems the card market for hockey isnt as strong or its all about the rookies. though upper deck still seems more reasonably priced then topps and panini for hobby

Yeah I’ve played hockey my whole life. Even drove Zamboni for a while lol. I do wish the cards had some flashier style inserts and stuff like that. They’re a little bland
-
totally get that. its an upper deck thing. and thats cool what position did you play

I was a center! Still lace them up every now and then.
