I started collecting cards in 1987 and collected A LOT of what we all know now as junk wax. Back then I had a list of players that were my favorite players and I would collect all of their cards and save them in binders. So much easier when there were 50 different insert versions! I recently took stock of who I had on that “favorite” list and discovered I had about 150 players!!! No wonder my cards were taking over the house! I’ve been cutting out players and making decisions on who I really want to keep and who is just a fad for the moment. Plus, I’m not keeping every single parallel of a card or multiple copies of a card. Still get carried away with prospects sometimes but eventually get over most of them and end up selling what I can on Collx. Still a work in progress, that’s for sure but I have a feeling it will always be changing.
