I’m not sure there are any cards that I wouldn’t sell “no matter the offer”. That said I have a 1955 Bowman Ernie Banks from my grandfather that is probably valued in the $1,000~ range that it would take an outrageously over value offer for me to even consider selling it, probably 10x the value at a minimum.

i think deep down you wouldnt sell.. but i also agree if it was to happen it would have to be extreme circumstances and value too

My ultimate Star Wars grade. Wide vison sketch card of the Duel on Mustafar drawn by Ryan Finley that in September Hayden Christensen will sign and in April Ewan McGregor will sign

Already a sick card, going to be insane with the signatures on it!

One thing I do for autograph prep is I mess around with a card in photoshop to get and idea what ink colors work best and placement, here is the final concept

That’s going to look so good. Never thought about mocking up signatures before going to get them. Great idea!

Oh yeah it helps so much, gives you a good idea what the final product could look like and plan accordingly. Kind of the card equivalent of measure twice cut once lol

Yes and this will definitely be my first PSA upcharge lol my estimate is post encapsulation, if I can get 10 autos and a card grade of at least 8(very rare for sketches to grade that high) it’s going to be a $3k-$5k card

Naturally in bad condition because a artist has been handling it so its never as pristine as reg cards

Typically sketch cards are the same as an autograph, it was added but apart of the official card. But it’s handled way more than a normal card before it’s packed

oh i get that cause the artist is handling it. though some use gloves but i still get the point.

This right here would be the one.. Not worth much. Cost more to grade it then the card is worth.. But the first card i ever got signed. Waiting after a game at spring training and got him to sign it.. Wish i new then what i know now and had a sharpie instead of ball point pen..

yeah well sadly i stopped collecting and what was left of my cards where just sitting in an bin.. then a couple months back i was helping clean out the garage at my moms and she gave me stuff that was my grandmas and such and then said heres some of your old baseball cards. soon as i opened it i could smell the cardboard and picking them up and then seeing that one was like man now time to go to the store and get cards.. luckly the decent cards where in top loaders.
