Just came out today. I always enjoy a good Chrome Black rip, but they look very awesome this year

Cards design has honestly been on point lately for all sets. I haven’t really ripped anything where I was like WTF were they thinking lol

That is for sure! Hopefully the quality of the art keeps going up cause that would suck if theres a drop off.

My bosses were at a Topps convention a few months ago and Topps told their store owners that card design has been overhauled and a huge focus for them

Thats good though. Especially since I feel the artwork leads to the want to collect or at least plays a big factor in it.

Great artwork is an awesome long term play too. The best Jordans and Kobes come from really cool inserts

I just opened my first box. Best card was Bucky Irving /25… seen some big cards but it wasnt nice to me, a lot of no name autos

not bad but still ouch for me haha.. i guess i need to just save up and finally buy a hobby box of something and stop buying retail. but the brain is always going i can get x many vs just one

Best Hobby to start at is a Flagship Hobby so Topps Baseball Series 1 &2, Topps Basketball and soon Topps Football. Boxes are usually 180-250. Don’t know what Topps Football will be yet but it could be over 250 but I still expect under 300

im assuming thats getting it from topps themself or a card shop cause all the hobby boxes ive seen on ebay well over that price range. expecially ones through auction

Those are scalpers there. Topps Football isn’t out till august so scalpers are trying to flip presales. It’s a paper set though so these aren’t ever super expensive because it hurt the market to sell a flagship so high. People though NBA Flagship was going to be pricy but when we got it and put it up for sale it was $180.

180 isnt too terrible. I’m assuming thats for a hobby box as well?

Yeah flagship sets are paper heavy sets, so they come in at a lower price point
