What are the quirkiest/oddest cards in your collection?
Let’s see the weirdest cards you have.
I like quirky cards and can’t resist if I see a card of someone I PC and that cards is just plain weird.
The two oddest ones I have are Spencer Strider cards. One is artwork by Elbo Glass in the Topps 2022 Project 100 and the other is a Garbage Pail Kids with artwork by Alex Pardee.
I’d also put the Bob Ross Joy of Baseball Set in with quirky cards. These Strider cards show Strider pitching in ankle-deep water and through tree branches.
And then there’s the Topps Spotlight set with artwork by Andy Friedman. Looks like a watercolor painting to me.
What do you like? Maybe it’s not weird cards but the most classic of classic sets.

These 2 are on the way from the shop. I just seen they have one with Charizard as Kobe, and another one with Mewtwo as Lebron and Charizard as Lebron that I may be getting as well

to mimic official rare metal releases, provide a premium tactile feel, and offer a durable canvas for custom gold or silver artwork. thats part of why.

i asked google.. that was part of the reason which to me made sence. metal cards are cool.. i think i have a couple sports ones somewhere

The card is so inexpensive I figured that would part of the answer. Affordibility for printing?

i dont know.. i think they just tried something and did so much with them at one point.. Its like the 24ct gold cards they did once upon a time

It’s printed on SILK?? That’s definitely different. I had no idea there were “cards” like this!

there are a few other players on them.. though others i have seen graded are more expensive but lots of ungraded
