Color Match Debate
I’ve noticed color match has become a much bigger part of the hobby over the last few years.
Some collectors will pay a premium for a parallel that perfectly matches the team’s colors, (even paying more for a higher number if it had a better color match) while others couldn’t care less if the card is numbered lower or simply looks better overall.
Where do you fall?
Does color match make a card significantly more desirable?
Would you pay extra for it?
Or do you think it’s become a bit overrated?

I think color match cards are cool but for me i can take them or leave them. its crazy how it does affect the value to alot of collectors. Heck i know those who want color match and numbered to the point the serial number is there jersey number or such. or the 1/1 or the last one of a print one so its a number match as well

I think they look good but they’re not something I chase in general. I really prefer the variety of cards that were out there before Fanatics took over and consolidated a lot and went to parallels. Though I do love some PC parallels

I do like color matches but I can go without them. Sometimes I wont notice I have color matches until someone points it out then I’m just like oh thats lucky

I’m a such a sucker for a good color match PC wise. I think it just adds to the over design for of the card

Oh for PC they are great for sure. Its just insane on the price ranges that you see for some of them
