• Most Wild Case I’ve Ever Opened

My most ridiculous case I’ve ever opened. 2025-26 Topps Motif Basketball absolutely went crazy on this one. And this is only a percentage of what this guy hit. Cooper Flagg rookie relic auto redemption, KAT/Jalen Brunson dual auto redemption, Kon Knueppel RPA /49, 2 Ace Bailey autos, one /10 one /25, 3-gor Demin RPA /25, Dominique Wilkins on card auto(so rare for legend autos), SGA /49… and there was STILL more. At some point you just stop opening packs and start wondering if the case hit a cheat code. 🤯This has to be one of the craziest cases I’ve seen. Which hit do you guys like best and why is it the Cooper Flagg redemption card? 😂

This is absolutely insane lol but yeah I do like the Cooper Flagg auto redemtion just cause hes gonna be the cornerstone of Dallas for a bit unless the GM loses his mind and gets rid of him

I agree though if they actually build around Flagg like they should, that redemption could end up being a monster card. He’s one of those players the hobby has been waiting on for years, and if he lives up to the hype, early autos are going to be highly sought after.

Of course, with redemptions, the real gamble is whether you get the card before Flagg signs his Hall of Fame induction speech. 😆

From what I’ve seen Wembys market has gone down after the finals for sure. But I agree with the others. Or how PCA’s market skyrocketed over night basically

That’s the part of the hobby that makes buying early so tough. Nobody knows which guy is going to wake up one morning and suddenly have the entire hobby chasing him.

PCA is a perfect example. A $3 rookie the day before the jump suddenly looks like the smartest purchase in the world afterward. Meanwhile, the rest of us are sitting there like, “Cool… I’ll start buying him now that everyone else already did.”

That’s why I think there’s something to grabbing a few cards of players you genuinely believe in before the hype gets completely out of control. You don’t have to hit every breakout, just being early on one every once in a while feels pretty darn good.

That’s the best part about baseball. We romance the game so much and it because it takes back to those simpler times
