Should dealers put prices on every card in their showcases?
I figured this would be a great thing to ask ans see what you fellow collectors think on this.
I think some cards for sure should. not every. I know alot of people want to see prices but i also think some with out gives way to start a conversation besides just asking hey whats the best you can do on this 150 jalen hurts.

It’s actually a tactic. Basically an icebreaker. If you ask about the card then the conversation has been started, plus gives the seller and idea what that customer is interested in.

oh i agree.. i also think prices should be there to cause ill still ask.. its a give or take. im not gonna get bent out of shape cause a seller dont have prices on cards.

Personally, Yes. If it’s for sale, put a price on it. Make it clear to see and put it on the front. If you just want to show off some cool stuff at a show and have a conversation piece, fair enough…to each their own. I don’t mind if it’s a card or 2, but if you decided to show up as a vendor and didn’t bother to take the time to look up current values and price your cards, it comes across as lazy and frustrating to most buyers. 9 times out of 10, unless it’s something I really want and don’t see too often, I’m just moving to the next table.
