Big mail day today!
This card had to go through ebay authentication so it took forever to finally arrive. And when it did, it was in a sleeve, inside a card saver, inside a loose psa sleeve with that psa sleeve sealed with the ebay authentication sticker. So I did what anyone would do and voided that seal so I could get it in a nice zion mag! Looks so much better now!
Back story, I won the ownership of the art proof for this card’s art. This card brings me only one card short of the full rainbow. The only card missing is the one-of-one which hasn’t been pulled yet.

I’ve got this one on the stand on my desk. I need to figure out how I want to display the others as the desk is a bit too cluttered to really do that. But, once I figure it out, yes, I likely will.
I might just 3d print a mag holder for the cards. If I ever get the one of one, it would only be 5 cards so it could be a smaller print.

Smart to print it yourself. You can make it custom. And the 5 will look great displayed together.

AND you have a super custom label. Was it easy to get the labels done?

Well, they’re homemade. They look better in the picture than they do in person, but they’ll work for my PC. I just put the design together in Photoshop then printed using word on a color printer. I tried laminating it a bit with some packing tape which helped. Still looks OK, but not as good as they would be if I had Zion print them I think.

That is such a cool backstory for a card. 😂 And honestly, I think you made the right call breaking the eBay seal. If I had something going into a Zion mag, I’d want to actually see it in the presentation I like too.

thats crazy.. they dont even send them out in there ebay authenticated boxes anymore? and i kind of feel that service is just a waste of time. i get its there to protect the high value cards and the buyers and sellers from being scammed.

I should have probably mentioned that part. It was shipped well. In a bubble mailer and a very elaborate (fancy) cardboard box and holder. It was just the sleeving that I felt was a bit silly.
If you’re gonna throw a anti-tamper sticker on, find a way to do it that I can still use any of the common display options. The sticker was huge, and it was clearly visible from the front so it was a no go if I wanted to display the card at all.

thats pretty crappy.. i mean i guess its like psa sending your cards back in a crappy box that just has there logo on the inside. I guess things do cost money. still could be better and yeah hate when stickers ruin things
