Well it finally came. First card i ever sent in to psa. Wasnt expecting big grade as card is beat up and had been sitting in a tote for over 20 years. This will stay in PC. When he played he had an okay career but fell off eventually.

yeah mainly wanted it back. lot of crazy stuff going on with psa right now.. And im happy with the grades.. KInda wish the auto was higher since it was signed in person but it is what it is. And signed with pen and seems everyone signs with marker now adays

Oh for sure. I am so hesitant on sending to PSA cause of all the stuff going on so think I am going to stick to Degree for now since most graded cards I am getting are PC cards

i agree.. though i think im gonna send a couple to tag and see how those actually look in my hands.

Somehow I missed seeing these when you posted them. Great cards. I’ll be adding that Chipper one to mine at some point. Which players from that team do you collect?

Im actually going to collect at least one or two from each player from that year of the team.. But i was a chipper fan alot. and Mcgriff..

Newest one in my pc. Got it at a good price. Nothing too special, but i pc Raiders so a psa10 to add to the collection is a-ok with me.

nice card and hey its your pc so long as it means something to you then doent matter what others think or the market thinks

For sure. Just a nice clean card, slabbed. It doesn’t hurt that I barely paid 2x on the raw value of the card and didn’t even come close to what it would cost to send to psa.

Found this interesting on ebay and had to get it. portrait card custom made. 19/35. When he was with the <b style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;”>Baltimore Orioles. Left the braves as a free agent

I remember when chipper was a rookie. So much hoopla. I mostly stopped watching baseball after the strike in 94 tho so didn’t really keep track of most of the players from that era.

I got to see Chipper play in a Single A game and had NO idea how big he would become. Luckily someone pointed out that he was the #1 draft pick and how many errors he was making at short or I wouldn’t remember him from then at all

It is fun going to minor league baseball games and seeing all the young prospects! Especially because you have no idea who will end up blowing up

Ahh i just got a pack of that card game to see what the cards where about.

It’ll suck you in pretty quick. I’ve played a few games online and its a pretty decent game to play as well. The art on the cards is what got me though. There was a bit of discussion around it due to their using some ai to complete them but its all got real artists tied to it as well.

Each card in each set is only in that set. So, they won’t keep printing the same card in each set. They do what they call Echos that are serialized versions of previous set cards, but then some rarity and I believe they change the art as well.
But, yeah, once the print run is over, they print no more.

I taught high school English for many years.

It really does. I keep trying to get admin to let me teach an entrepreneurship class, but they don’t think enrollment will support it. I keep trying anyways.

keep trying though.. theres alot of things they should be teaching or offering kids early on. but i get it if not enough interest they cant support it or funding is usually the issue.

For sure! Part of the issue is that we teach a required personal finance class so that takes a lot of our time for a department of 2.
