I echo your take on the auto, in the same category, I HATE sticker autos. I’d rather not have an auto than have a sticker.

I agree 1000% I collect mostly non sports so on card autos are so rare. That’s why most of the time I’d rather get them myself

But sticker autos have there place.. expecially for that kid who cant afford that on card one. I know sticker autos have there negative to them.. For me the person still had to sign them. For me i think the sticker should be more transparent. but they dont and ive seen plenty that have the holo logo of the brand and such and its like come on

I definitely think there should be stickers but only to a certain level. Like make the really low numbers a on card, essentially creating a variation within the card

oh i completely agree.. obviously us adults think different then kids and when a kid gets one they dont care if its a sticker or not.. there first reaction is always ecstatic. I wish topps and such would just have better transparency with there cards and make it easier to know which version you have.

Sticker autos should not be a thing. On card just seem a lot better in my opinion

I will say I do understand the utility of sticker autos, hard to logistically coordinate all those sets with autos and card design but I believe there’s a certain numbered level where autos should never be stickered. For me everything /25 & lower should be an on card.

Agreed. Or at least /10. I get not wanting to bombard athletes or card artists but on cards are much nice in my opinion.
