Okay guys and gals how did you get started collecting and when did you? What took you away from the hobby and brought you back if you took a break?

My Dad and Grandpa owned a card shop when I was a kid. They sold the shop in the late 90s and I slowly got away from cards but a few years ago I discovered Topps Star Wars Cards. I never looked back

I never really seriously collected anything until I got back into watching most of the Braves games in 2022. I bought a few Strider cards on eBay and started learning more and then the bug bit and I bought more and more cards. And now I’ve decided to expand from baseball and basketball cards to add Pokémon cards. So I have a lot to learn in a new area

Didnt seriously start getting into it until lately. Used to just buy the packs from stores for fun

thats what i did as a kid. bought packs and filled binders.

Yeah I used to have like star wars cards from the original trilogy but since joining the Navy havent been able to find them.
