If you collected as a kid and still do now or got back into it as an adult. what is one thing you would tell your younger self if you could?

Pick a team or two from each sport to collect and focus on just those teams. Also buy as many Michael Jordan cards as you can lol

For me it would have been to better protect my cards and hold on to some. and to have stayed in the hobby some

I bet that’s the answer a lot of folks would give. But the hobby is SO different now, so much more money in it.

yeah it is insane how it is now.. alot of good but also alot of bad at the moment.

This is definately true cause I had a bunch of Pokemon cards growing up that would probably be worth a good penny now

There’s going to be this thing called Google and Netflix BUY STOCKS! LOL But seriously probably my biggest collecting regret came when I was 16. Dumb teenager brain told me I needed a car way more than I needed a comic collection. I sold them all for $2000. A great price in 2002. Do you know started a couple years later? A little thing called The Marvel Cinematic Universe. That $2000 collection today is worth of $50k lol

yeah i bet that stings now.. the things we dont know or dont think about.. But then the hobby back then was more about then and there not what we couldnt predict
