Past or Present whats one thing in the hobby you would have wanted to witness?
So we have had alot of great things in the sports world happen. Past and present. Whats something you would loved to have seen or something current that would like to or have been apart of?
For me its hard to pick one but I would have loved to been around when Jackie Robinson broke barriers. I would like to think that the way i am today is how i would have been then. Believing all deserve a shot at something no matter there skin tone or religion they believe in.

I think I’d have liked to see Michael Jordan play in person. I don’t know why I didn’t! I went to a few Braves games but not to any Hawks games back when driving to Atlanta was no problem for me.

oh for sure would loved to have seen jordan play. i think for me it was not that much into basketball and only knew of him and the others through tv and such

And for players now I’d try to get to see Ohtani in person IF I could get a seat close enough to really see him, especially if he was pitching in a game.

For Jordan I don’t think I realized then quite how special he was. Sometimes you don’t really know until after they retire

heck in the beginning no one did. his own mom did and pushed for things.

Yeah i think next season im gonna make it a point to get to some games. i know theres still time this season

Id pick going to the Celtcs vs Lakers rivalry in the 80s.

great one and oh yeah.. Nothing like the Bird and Johnson rivalry. And later on becoming the best of friends. Bird was different and man he did not like being guarded by a white player. he wanted a brother guarding him.. But they both did great things and knocked barriers down.

Thats for sure it was.. As a kid i only get to see the tail end of it. then the dream team where they were on same team
