PSA Backlog
Due to the PSA backlog, is everyone sending upgraded tiers to get their cards faster or using have collectors moved on from PSA to other grading companies? Would love to hear what members have decided.

I’m just going to hold what makes sense to hold until value re-opens. The cheapest tier available now is $80 per card to that has to make sense based on the card value.

I’m waiting to see what the effect overall seems to be. Will people value raw cards more? Will they migrate to other graders? I want to see what happens in the next 6 months. I’m definitely holding off on having more valuable cards graded. What are you planning on doing yourself?

Going to hold onto the bulk submissions and only send in higher value cards that would offset the increased price of grading. I’m hearing a backlog of 2027 which is insane..

For some of my PC I am using Degree and waiting for them to have the carbon slab option. For higher value cards, may end up waiting on the PSA backlog to die down but its a waiting game for sure with PSA

So they are coming up with carbon slabs. They’re gonna be black versus the clear plastic

Nice! I personally don’t want black but I’d bet lots of people do. Or in a year *I* might want black. My tastes change lol. Thanks again for introducing me to Degree!

Oh I just think it’d be cool just to have different slabs plus since I PC the Spurs it works out

Yeah with teams like the Spurs the black will really pop. I’m sure some people want all of their slabs to look the same but like you I’m more of a fan of variety

Yeah I think Degree’s owners tried to think of something that would set them apart from everyone else and this is a good way to in my opinion

It really does. Waiting to see when they come out cause may do all my Spurs pc in this slab

Honestly I’ve just been saving up to send them in value once that opens again. If it’s something I need to move or I’m just too excited to wait for lol I’ll upgrade to the higher tiers
