• Slabbed Packs – The Next Frontier?

I recently picked up a PSA slabbed/authenticated pack of 1989 Upper Deck Baseball signed by Ken Griffey Jr. The most iconic player from the 90s on one of the most iconic and important sets in the history of the Hobby. I think the sky is the limit for it.

There are people who loves sports and love certain teams/players, and then there are those of us who also love those things, but also love the hobby itself. Not just who the cards represent, but what they represent. The memories with a parent, child, or friend. The joy from opening a box of cards as a kid. The love of the community and the nuances of the hobby. Slabbed packs are a celebration of the hobby itself, and I think people love it as much as the cards in it.

Thoughts? If you could have one pack of cards sealed, and signed by an athlete, which would it be and why? Obviously 1986 Fleer with MJ or 1952 Topps from Mantle would be massive, but what others come to mind?
