What ever happened to Allen & Ginter?
They were one of the ORIGINAL card companies back in the 1800s, but they didn’t stick around.
They ended up getting absorbed into <strong data-start=”239″ data-end=”280″>American Tobacco Company, and after that whole company got broken up, the Allen & Ginter name basically disappeared.
Fast forward to now, and <strong data-start=”402″ data-end=”443″>Topps brought the name back as a modern set.

Crazy how something from the tobacco era is still part of the hobby today.
Anyone here rip Allen & Ginter or collect it?

I have a couple of them in both my pc and in my regular collection as I call it. They’re pretty neat modern variations!

I don’t collect baseball but I love Allen & Ginter. I’m a big fan of all of the oddball stuff that you can pull.

What do you collect? and yeah i do like alot of the odd things too. even non sports

Mainly football and Pokémon. I also collect Punisher and Daredevil PMGs
