I’m curious to see what answers you get because I do wonder about that

Let’s see if I can link this. I asked that earlier and got these responses. I’ve stuck with Dex for my Pokemon. I so far haven’t stuck with using one particular app for my sports cards. I have CollX but end up having to manually load too many cards so I hardly use it. I prefer the scan feature. The very serious guys at my local hobby shop use Card Ladder but it’s too pricey for me. https://thehobbi.com/forums/discussion/whats-the-best-app-for-tracking-your-collection/

I hope you end up with some 10s and are happy with the overall experience.

It sounds like you know Pokemon. Which are your favorites? For you to collect and/or to sell

I think it’s pretty accurate for 95% of my card purchases. I might somewhat be looking at potential value but mostly I get a card because I like it or the player. Best case scenario it’s both

For real…I don’t know that I could for sure identify my OWN signature just by looking at it
-
That’s for sure a valid point especially if you can personally look at the card
-
I think that’s a great strategy

A more expanded part of my experiment is to see how TCG seems to be like or not like sports cards. There’s a bigger international audience but fewer cards and totally different quality cards, at least how they feel in my hand. And as a friend pointed out the Beanie Baby boom lasted a bit and then fizzled. Is that coming for TCG?? I kind of think not because of the nostaliga element, much like in sports cards. So many of us here are thinking back to when we first started watching and/or collecting sports cards. It will be interesting to watch, and since this is not my investment portfolio I don’t have to stress about it!

That’s exactly how I’m thinking. Every point! And yes I’m an Umbreon fan so I’m happy to have the cards no matter appreciation or not. It’s nice to have validation. Thanks!

This is the way

I think there’s great potential for these to appreciate over the next several years.

I feel sure my cards and pens and all went to the garbage with a bunch of other requests. I sent them during spring training when they had more time, too

My theory is that whoever picks the photos sometimes picks bad angles for some athletes they don’t like. Like in basball a weird follow through after a swing. If I were the players I wouldn’t be happy with some of the photos!
