🏈 WHO ELSE IS READY FOR FOOTBALL?!
Posted by kyberforged on August 31, 2026 at 9:14 amI don’t know about you guys, but I am READY for the 2026 NFL season.
And the NFL is really making us wait about five minutes before throwing us into the deep end this year. We’re starting the season on a Wednesday with a Super Bowl rematch, then Thursday gives us 49ers-Rams in Australia before we finally get the Sunday slate.
But for me, there’s an extra reason I’m fired up…
MY BUCCANEERS ARE COMING TO TOWN TO OPEN THE SEASON AGAINST THE BENGALS! 🏴☠️🐅
So you already know what I’ll be doing that weekend — tailgating with the family and then heading into the game. Doesn’t get much better than that.
And honestly, I’m just ready for everything that comes with football season again. The games, the rivalries, the rookies, the breakout players, the fantasy arguments, the tailgates… and of course watching the card market go absolutely nuts every time a rookie has a big game.
Who are you guys most excited to watch this season?
And what’s your favorite part of football season — the games, the cards, fantasy football, or the tailgating? 🏈🍻
Let’s hear it!

Real football starts this Friday with college football. Lol but looking forward to the NFL season as well. My favorite part is making the food for the game because even if the game is terrible at least the food will be good lol
-
That’s the correct attitude. College football gets us started, and if the game turns into a complete disaster, at least you can still say, “Yeah, but did you try these wings?”
Honestly, the food might be the most reliable player on the roster some weekends.
-
For sure about the food. I have noticed though since being in the Pacific Northwest, tailgating is not a thing which is crazy to me.
-
That would be crazy to me too. Tailgating is basically its own sport where I’m from. I honestly think the food, hanging out, and whole pregame atmosphere are half the experience.
-
Yeah I asked about it when I first moved out here and I got the weirdest looks lol
-
oh for sure. i think some of the tailgates ive seen are more a show then the ball game sometimes haha.. the community that happens with some
-
Craziest tailgate I’ve been to is the Georgia vs Florida tailgate. Theres a reason its called the worlds largest tailgate party lol
-
oh i bet. ive not been but ive seen videos of some massive ones
-
I went to it one time just to say I’ve gone and it was insane!
-
thats cool and hope you had made some new friends.
-
We usually tailgate the local university (we’re alumni) I guess so that has to count for something.

Big Bears fan here, so pretty pumped for this season. Looking for #18 to do his thing and put up MVP type numbers. Worried about our defense a bit, but optomistic about this season overall. Bears finish 13-4 and make a run to the SB. Book it!
-
I can see the Bears getting at least 12 wins for sure. Especially if Caleb improved over the offseason which I am sure he did. Sadly I am a Cowboys fan and just hoping our receivers stay healthy and that Dak goes the heck off and our defense does well this year even though its a new coordinator
-
Yeah, I think 12 wins is absolutely within reach for Chicago if Caleb takes that next step. That second-year jump could make a huge difference.
And as a Cowboys fan, I feel like your entire season can be summed up as: “Please, for the love of God, just stay healthy.” 😂
If Dak is cooking, the receivers stay healthy, and the defense adjusts quickly to the new coordinator, Dallas could be dangerous.
-
Yeah its either please stay healthy or for well there goes the season *insert stars name here* is out
-
-
-
I love the confidence. 😂 13-4 and a Super Bowl run is not a prediction, that’s a declaration.
I’m with you on #18 being the big question. If he takes that next step and starts putting up legitimate MVP-caliber numbers, suddenly the Bears become a VERY different team.
-
Fake it till you make it! LOL. Just like the boys in 1985 with the Super Bowl Shuffle, we like to call our shots

I would really like for it to be the Lions year. I’m not convinced just yet, but we’ll see. If they can stay healthy, they might be able to make a good run. It’s weird to say it, but I think the Bears are in their way.
-
Yep I agree, the Bears will be a problem and injuries are so important.
-
-
Detroit looks good, it’s just how loaded that division is. Any of those teams could win the NFC
-
The Lions are going to be dangerous for sure. Going to be interesting to see how Gibbs does as the sole RB without Montgomery
-
Yep and now Pacheco is on IR. Gibbs has to stay healthy!
-
He really does and hoping he does cause hes a stud for sure

LETS GOOOO BUCS.. this is the year they get another super bowl..
-
Oh man. Has it been hot where you are? Do you need an ice pack or something? I think you’ve gone delusional… 😉
-
hahahaha well always hot.. one can only hope.. maybe this is the year that one of the last 4 teams that have never one a super bowl finally go and win.
-
Well, sure, that would be cool, but I don’t see it happen. The Bills might have a shot, but the rest? meh.
-
it will probably be a couple of the same teams like always.
-
-
-
-
-
heck yeah.. im just hoping they put up some great states and tez and emeka and all them make some records
-
Well, if Baker gets his motivation from his lack of contract, they just might do it. Should be a pretty deep run though. Division champs at the very least.
-
This isnt too far fetched. I can see them winning the division for sure. Bakers found a system that lets him have fun at qb which we havent seen since his days in Oklahoma
-
yeah and the owners better do right and offer him something great or he will go to free agency. they already screwed up with no contract supposivly yet or talks and baker flat out said no talks while in go mode
-
Doesnt want any distractions during the season which I get
-
yeah but still. they should have made a deal before hand..
-
Oh I agree. Its just nuts to me you wouldnt want to make him the guy
-
true. plus we dont really know whats going on. there could be things causing the rift.. alot fo great talent has passed through the bucs. ive kinda joked to others about them being the training team and they all move on to other teams and do great things haha

I just like watching a good game. I used to play fantasy football, but haven’t been a part of a good league in a bit so pretty much stopped that. I do a few pick the winner things and just watch to see some plays.
Food doesn’t really come into play for me until the super bowl when we get together with some friends and deep fry everything.
-
ive always thought about fantasy football but never learned the concept of it and what was a good source for it
-
Well, for sure avoid the free leagues on ESPN. That’s what finally turned me off. I couldn’t find a private league to join so I joined a few of those every year. It’s nice cause it gives me an incentive to watch individual players who aren’t on the Raiders, but every year, at least 2 or so of the players totally ghost the league and it loses it’s fun when that happens.
-
if you was to get back into it today where or what app would you use to play fantasy football today?
-
Honestly, I’m not sure. I like using an app because it auto calculates scores and such. I just think it would have to be in a league of players who I knew and that I knew weren’t going to just disappear 3 weeks into the season.
-
ahh understandable. yeah i know nothing about fantasy football.

Just cause I know people are going to give me grief for this…. LETS GO COWBOYS!!! Lol
-
Im mad they let Pete go.. he should have made the cut.. they could have done something amazing
