• Arch Manning just changed the game for his cards.

After being tied to Panini since 2023, Manning is now officially exclusive with Topps for trading cards and autographs. His first Topps autos are coming in Bowman Football, which makes this especially interesting with him being one of the biggest names in the 2027 NFL Draft class. Now I’m really curious what happens to the Panini Arch cards. Do those become the “early Arch” cards collectors chase because there won’t be any more Panini autos going forward? Or does the Topps deal completely shift the market toward his new stuff? Then theres that first Bowman Football auto… I have a feeling collectors are going to go absolutely nuts for it. What’s your play on Arch? Buy the Panini stuff now, wait for Topps, or stay away until we see what he does on the field?

Honestly i think with any player its get some but also see what they do on the field. i mean unless your treating it like prospects and taking the gamble. and its crazy that topps/fanatics is monopolizing basically the sports card world.

That’ll be why people chase him. It’s all about the 1st Bowmans and Mendoza’s market last year was nuts. Indiana was always the the most expensive spot in breaks, so Texas will be this year lol

So as a Texas fan anyways, already have a few Arch from Panini and will be buying the Bowman for sure. Also know his market will grow or decline based off the game against Ohio State this coming weekend. Word of advice though? Buy now on the Texas running backs and wr’s for sure

I’m with you on the Texas skill guys.

Arch is obviously the headline, but if he has a monster game against Ohio State, I think the ripple effect could hit the Texas WRs and RBs hard too. Cam Coleman and Ryan Wingo already showed what that offense can look like, and Hollywood Smothers had 70 yards in the opener.

The crazy thing is that they barely used Cam in the opener which means less tape for Ohio State to see him with Arch. Feel like Coleman in particular is going to have a monster game.

If Coleman gets a bunch of targets early and Arch is dealing, his cards could move FAST. A big game against Ohio State is exactly the kind of spotlight that can change a player’s hobby market overnight

For sure a big game against Ohio State will do wonders for the movement of any Texas players cards but especially Arch’s.

Absolutely. That Ohio State game feels like one of those true market-defining moments. If Arch puts up a big performance against that defense, I could see his cards getting a serious bump almost immediately.

It really does and its not even a Texas has to win this game for the market to go up its just a plus. All that needs to happen is a big game from Arch the win is just a bonus

Exactly. I think that’s the important distinction. The hobby market doesn’t necessarily care about the final score as much as the performance.

Yeah I’ve slowly started to realize that. Individual performance outweighs the team performance which is kind of nuts

It really is kind of wild when you think about it. lol A guy can have an incredible individual season on a mediocre team and his cards can take off, while a guy on a winning team can have a quiet year and barely move the needle.
