Card show vs local hobby shop vs buying online
The Flip Trade Show is going to be here locally this weekend and I’m wondering what the advantages of a show are over my local hobby show or buying online. I’m guessing there’s a reason I might want to go to a show over the other options and would like to know what you think.
Why do you choose to go to shows?
And I’d like your advice in case I do decide to go!

So with shows obviously you will get to see product from people you normally wouldnt see with in your local card shop show or card shop. plus hands on while online its only hands on once you get the item. Plus card shows are a great way to network and possibly make some friends.

Thanks for your input! That’s very helpful. I have limited stamina and need to sit a lot, so that cuts back on how much time I can spend at a show. But I really want to check it out!

well see how big its suppose to be and where its at and see if you can find out online if they have places to sit.. i know alot of the major large shows dont have alot of seating. or if so i would assume its out of the way

It’s where I started. I can find a list of vendors and some rules but not what I’m specifically looking for. I’ve looked at social media posts. I think I’ve looked at everything

Shows are fun cause you can meet people that are in the same hobby as you. Plus I feel like local shows wouldnt be as packed so you can actually take time to look around
