Filling out some of my Braves PC with HOFers
Today’s mail was a jackpot of old cards of Aaron, Chipper, and Maddux.
I actually did see Aaron play (yep, showing my age). I was at a game in the fall before he broke the record the next spring. Maddux is a favorite because I had an older friend who LOVED him. So I’d drive her to games and we’d get there super early to see him warm up. She sent a photo I took of him for an autograph and he actually DID sign it and sent it back to her.
I think this Mad Dog card of him is great, especially since Glavine, Smoltz, Chipper and that bunch all really do call him “Doggie.”
And the one outlier card is of Money Mike as a baby Brave when he was first drafted

I have just now gotten interested in older cards. I was all about the young players and prospects but now my focus seems to be shifting some. I think it’s partially because I’m learning more about cards and collections in general
