We’ll see how this post ages as the season rolls along, but man am I pumped for the Bears this season. Opening game was everything I wanted, lol. Yeah, defense could have been better, but we still won the turnover battle and had a nice stop on 4th down. Caleb looks like he could be the guy from the 2024 class that emerges as the pick of the litter. Glad I have a boatload of his cards and will be holding them for the near future. Official prediction is the Bears go 12-5 and Caleb finishes in the top 3 MVP votes. Hell, scratch that! He wins the damn thing. Bears and Bills in the Super Bowl baby!

I think the Panthers game was sort of an anomaly. I do however think that the Bears are probably one of the teams to beat in the NFC this year. None of the other NFC north teams are really looking too good (although the Vikings are leading 6-3 as I write this) and as long as the Bears stay some what consistent, they should end up at the top of the division and be a shoe-in for the playoffs.

Well hopefully Caleb is alright after today. But they are a great team to contend with in the NFC for sure

Atleast it’s a hammy! We’ll see what they find tomorrow. But seems like it could’ve been worse!

To the Browns though? Talk about overlooking a team.

That is rough for us to lose to the Browns. Not the start i expected, but I will remain optimistic. Haha

Yeah I saw some of the highlights and it is a wild start for the Bucs. The long weather delay probably didnt help any at all.

I just hope the Bucs get it together so we have a legit chance in the playoffs. Make it interesting and exciting for the fans!

Didn’t take long for this to not age well, lol! Pretty crappy day to be a bears fan. Looked like we were on our way to scoring the go ahead TD and then, boom!

Glad it appears to be a hammy, and not achilles or knee. Still not great, though. I’m actually a Bagent fan, even have a nice side PC of his cards, and think he can manage the game and use his legs enough to get us through while Caleb heals. The run game behind that top tier O-Line is the real lynchpin of the Ben Johnson offense. Feeling beaten, but not broken. Still sticking to 12-5 and the Kings in the North. If Caleb returns in 3-4 weeks fully ready, just a bump in the road. GOOD BETTER BEST!!

12-5 is still possible just depends how long Caleb is out

I prefer to be an optimist, lol. Not always the easiest for a life long bears fan 😂

Didn’t get to watch it, but saw a couple highlights and Mahomes had good numbers. Solid start for him this year!

Oh it was a pretty good game. The Colts came pretty close to pulling it off.

Have you watched the chiefs play the first two weeks? Are they a legit Super Bowl team or not?

I feel like they are. The only legitimate teams in the AFC that will challenge them if they stay healthy are the Bills.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Allen get one. He’s looked good too.

Yeah it honestly doesnt matter how bad the Bills defense does because Josh Allen will carry the offense.

That’s my QB. Our defense has been a tough watch. Our secondary has been slow for so many years. Sean McD constantly took the blame, but we just simply haven’t had the guys out there. Our front looks great. But there is no reason Damar Hamlin should be in a starting role on any NFL teams. Unfortunately he died on our field once and now we have to give him a yearly pity contract

That is the beauty of a Ben Johnson offense. Bagent should honestly be fine out there. The question is, can he help put up 30+ points because your guys’ defense has been brutal

Yeah he’s definitely a player that can carry a team.
