    Dang dude that is some greatness right there. Those vintage cards are absolutely gorgeous

      Thank you. It took a while to get them back from grading. I didn’t even care about the grade. Just wanted them encased to protect them.

        That’s exactly how I feel about some of my PC cards too. Sometimes the grade is completely secondary. If it’s a card that means something to you, having it protected in a slab and knowing it’s going to be preserved for years is worth the grading cost by itself.

          Exactly. I just wish grading prices would come down. I have a few more I would like to grade, but at $80 a pop.

            Yeah, $80 a card adds up REALLY fast. Especially when you have a handful where you’re grading primarily for protection or your PC rather than trying to maximize the resale value.

            I have a small pile of cards I’m now just holding waiting to grade. Maybe one day, the prices will go down.

      Without a doubt. Still amazes me how well he pitched and what he accomplished in only 12 years.

      100%. I loved that during last year’s World Series, at 90, he was still going to games.

        yeah its great seeing some of the greats stilla round and still involved in the sport at some compacity
