Love watching Elly, but man, his rookie stuff is already sky-high. Anyone think this cools off, or is this Acuña 2.0? 😬

Hype’s part of modern collecting. If you believe in the player, sometimes you pay the premium. Vintage guys like Mantle spiked early and never really came back down.
BUT, guys like Acuna are why I love vintage…the players I’m looking for have already retired and established their legacy. Much fewer surprises that way!

He’s fun to watch — speed + power combo. Prices feel high though… might wait until mid-season slump.

I just like his style — even my TCG peeps have mentioned him because his stuff is everywhere on social. Is he actually playing that good or just crazy athletic? 🤷♂️

I think everyone is a little over priced right now. Lets see what the new season brings.

You can always take that gamble of buying mid season based off of performance with anyone not named Shohei,Judge, or Skenes lol
