• My Degree Grading intro deal cards came in the mail today

Posted by KJXploR on June 20, 2026 at 6:33 pm

Here are photos of the Degree cards and what they call a “collector’s box” that they came in. I got a number line of grades: one 7, one 8, two 9s, and one 10.

What I really like is that the back of the slab rates 4 categories: Surface, Corners/Edges, Centering, Creases Dents. This way I can see what problem each card has.

Last pic is one of a card without the black-bordered card protector sleeve so you can see what a slab looks like with the Degree label.

I’ll post closer photos of the grading for each card later so you see how each card was graded. Right now I can’t get my laptop to sync with my phone to download all of the photos.

Nice and i still like the look of there slabs.. And i love the fact they come with a protective sleeve that isnt just plain clear. and they come in a fancy box and not just like psa does.. though im not sure what they do for larger orders but im sure way better protecting them.

Yeah, I do wonder how they package big orders. This looks cool but it’s not practical for storage. Takes up too much room.

They have bigger boxes. 😉 Not all in the same shape. I’ve got one that holds 20. It’s more rectangular, but the same sort of concept. Nice container with solid foam to hold the slabs in.

Lots of insights! I sent a variety and the grading pretty much aligns with what my hobby shop guy told me about grading.

I just added a post with pics of the back of the labels so you can see where each card got dinged for not being a top level. It’s really interesting to me

yeah i like that they give you insight.. and its carzy though that most cards come out of the packs with the issues.

Yes, not a 10 straight out of the pack. Seems off doesn’t it?

yeah one would think if out the pack should be decent but again when machines are doing the packing things get messed up. but also by humans too..

thats even better if it aligns with what your local cards shop guy said.. Its good to hear some local shops still being honest and not falling into the cracks of the bs going on right now

They seem like such good guys. I’ll be so disappointed if I find out otherwise! When I sat down and went through the ones I submitted with the guy who’s the most knowledgable he went to the back and brought out the owner for me to meet. And then the owner brought out his wife to introduce! And they made a point to say hello when I went back on Rip Night, even in the middle of a crowd of folks

We are all humans and can get things wrong at times but the fact the one employee went and got the owner and then he brought his wife out says alot. All card shops should be like that..

When businesses treat us like that we want to support them. That’s where small can beat out large by a lot. Not in price but in relationships.

They have a good and affordable product! I got two Degree graded Pokemons in today’s mail. This time I let someone else pay for grading.
