Staring this off with a banger! Long story short, I was able to trade a Select Josh Allen Rookie /99 PSA 10 for this (plus a little cash). This was a few years ago but cant beat trading the card of a player with only hype on their side for the GOAT!

I thought the same thing but I think he’s exclusive to Upper Deck and Panini has the NASCAR licensing.

2009 Topps Chrome Matthew Stafford Rookie Copper Refractor /649 PSA 10
I’m a huge Lions fan so you will see a lot of Lions cards in this thread.
Fun fact about this one, it was a SCG 9 and I cracked it to send to PSA.

Another great card! Good to know you can get a 9 to a 10 if you’re willing to risk it. And have a great eye, which apparently you do. I bet you felt great to get that vindication with the PSA 10.

Oh absolutely! It doesn’t always work out that way but I still would have been ok getting a PSA 9 rather than an SGC 9.

Thats good. Though i feel we really need to get other grading companys up to the standards and value psa is.. Hopefully psa will rough out there issues and make some changes.. i dont like that they can just randomly upcharge you. And the wait time now is so insane. Expecially if your sending in to get back quick for resale.

Yeah the long wait times are deterring me from submitting to PSA plus the price is ridiculous for me to justify since I dont sell for profit though that would probably become an option if I did

2023 Topps Composite Chrome Herman Moore Auto Superfractor 1/1
I’m a big Herman Moore collector. You will see a ton in this thread.

I’m a lifelong Lions fan and I wanted to start a PC of someone from the 90s since I love some of those iconic inserts (PMGs, Credentials, etc). Barry Sanders stuff is crazy expensive so he was not an option. Herman Moore was a great player who did not get a lot of hobby love and I enjoyed watching him as a kid. Realistically, he is the 2nd best WR in Lions history after Megatron. Another cool thing I learned was that Moore collects his cards and appears at a lot of local card shows. He also now follows me on IG and has commented on a few of my cards. Eventually I’d like to meet up with him and show him my PC.

If I were a player I’d absolutely be interested in someone’s collection of my cards. I think it’s fun when they are collectors themselves

For sure! I have a good amount of more rare stuff and Pop 1s. I’d like to go over a lot of it with him just so he can see more of his rare stuff and learn about it.

i think the same. i know some will say a 1/1 of a no namers is crap but ist still the first ever and only of that specific card.

Its from 2023 which was the first year they started making Topps again but unlicensed. I bought it off of eBay.

Going to drop the first Pokémon cards from my PC. The art on this card is what made me want to add it to the PC. Now I have the hard decision to keep or sell. I bought it in December (I think) for about $950 total but now its about $2500. Sometimes when PC cards get that high, its hard to justify keeping them.

Well theres always sell and wait around and buy again if the market for it goes down. I think theres always gonna be some pc stuff that you will be like i can sell that and get again and then stuff thats like nope never happening.

whys that? and im guessing cut auto is cause they signed it on the material as well?

I just like the look of it. Obviously on card would be best but that’s not always possible with older players.

a auto is a auto. i know i said that and there not always cause everyone wants on card and no sticker but man even cut autos are great. I dont mind sticker autos eaither as the player still had to sign each sticker.

Another part of my PC consist of Punisher and Daredevil Precious Metal Gems (PMG). PMGs are iconic in all sports and Marvel. The design and shine make them some the best looking cards out there. This is one of my favorites!

This is a forever PC card for me. These are my 2 favorite QBs of all time. This likely is the only card they have together and its autographed to top it off.

These are two of my favorite QBs too. And a 10. It’s still a big WOW card for me!!

An alone favorite card in my collection is tough. I have some #1 cards in different categories. This for sure is up there!
I really thought the card had a chance at a 10. Still not mad with a 9 and 10 auto tho!
