My recent additions to my current set building projects.. these are both fun sets and I am really enjoying building both.. do you have a favorite set and if so which..?

These are great! I’m very recently venturing a little into vintage cards. Looks like you could be a good resource for me! I’mficusing on Hank Aaron and Chipper Jones. Does Chipper count as vintage??

Hank is one of the best Vintage era players to focus on, if you’re a braves fan the best! Chipper Jones cards are considered junk wax era cards mostly. I say mostly because he does have some modern era stuff out there.

I saw Hank play when I was a little kid and when I was a teenager just before he broke the record. Nostalgia got me and I decided to try to get some cards from players I saw in their primes. But I’m not going for anything serious. At least not at this point. I don’t have enough knowledge to go for Hank cards of real value. I’m happy with the junk wax cards of Chipper’s (and Maddux who’s my other favorite from then). Those cards are just for fun.

The vintage cards I’m gonna end up chasing are Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth. I think both get reprints as well

I recently, 4 years ago, got back in to the hobby. I’ve had many hiccups but have learned from mistakes. I’m currently looking to build my vintage collection to eventually find a Mantle RC. I have way too much modern.

This is kinda modern meets vintage but I always wanted them at Mantle/Griffey duel auto card.
