Weekend Auto Lineup 👀✍
Posted by kyberforged on August 10, 2026 at 10:45 amGot a few lined up for this weekend—trying to be smart with it… but yeah we’ll see how that goes 😂
Saturday (Aug 15 – Cincinnati Card Show):
Elly De La Cruz – that patch is begging for ink
Noelvi Marte – “Robbed” inscription could go crazy
Matt McLain Radiating Rookie – MAYBE… if my wallet survives the first two 😅
Sunday (Aug 16 – Event at the store I work at):
Sal Stewart – clean RC relic, feels like a must
Trying to dial in the right pen colors for each—these could come out 🔥 if done right
If you had to pick one to get signed first… what are you grabbing?

The robbed one would be sick if you could get that inscription for sure and its just a sweet card
-
Yeah funny story, I saw it on eBay and realized one of my viewers was selling it and he’s local so we were able to cut eBay out of it and he just brought it into the shop lol
-
Lol that is pretty funny. I want to look up that card now cause rarely see cards with a robbery lol
-
Was a huge play last season, basically if Nolevi doesn’t catch that ball, the Pirates would have won and the Reds would have never made the Playoffs last year
-
Oh gotcha. Did not know that it was that big of a play
-
Plus an added bonus I was at that game, Stadium went crazy
-
Oh I can imagine. There are some plays that are great to be there in person for
-
I have never done a metallic paint pen auto before though so that part does make me nervous. lol I got a metallic black paint pen.

“Robbed” is my first choice too. That would be awesome to have!!
-
Yeah I think it almost makes the card feel like a real Topps Inscription card at that point

interesting and colors would look great but i wonder how the actual paint pen of that color is going to do on the card material. I know some inks you gotta let dry and not touch for a few.
-
Oh yeah different surfaces different prep. Chrome surface use a high polymer eraser over the auto area then wipe eraser dust with a microfiber cloth. Only the Matt McLain is chrome though. Topps now, Triple Threads, and Series 2 all paper sets, so just need to wipe with a good microfiber. Good practice too is have prep cards to test the marker on so you make sure the ink is flowing. I’ll have a prep chrome and paper cards in my kit to get the markers prepped while in line.
-
thats good and i figured you would be testing and prepping.. we arent in the old days when you got signed with a pen or just black permanent marker
-
Even vintage got an upgrade from the old days. One auto I considered but ultimately decided to wait is Bo Jackson (he goes to the National every year too) I was going with a blue Staedtler pen (it’s what all the companies use for autos now) on his Topps rookie but $230 on top of the rest of those is a hard stretch, especially trying to save up for Star Wars celebration lol
-
its crazy we are in the times now of having to pay to get an auto.. i get its like a quick meet and greet but shesh 230 for his auto and afterwards it doesn’t even make the card more valuable.. Well i know it makes it a memorie and if PC then the value doesn’t always matter
