• What to do with Vintage Lot

In recently got back into the hobby, spurred by my grandfather giving me a lot of probably 300 (1950s-1960s) mostly baseball with some football cards. He gave me every cub player he had in his collection from his time as a child. I picked a few out that I want to send for grading with SGC because I love vintage in their slabs, none of the cards will grade too high given they are his cards he played with when he was a child, but a few of the more unknown players, that he probably didn’t pull out as much, could probably grab a 7. What should I do with the rest? I want to make sure they stay safe and I take good care of them.

This might sound crazy but if your planning to keep them as pc i would almost slab them all.. Like you said most wont grade well but heck all in slabs and looking nice. I know that would cost a bit but sometimes the price dont matter if its reasonable.

I’ve considered this. Just slowly getting them all slabbed.

Could put them in mag cases also and display them if you dont want to slab all of them. The few you picked out couldnt hurt though to be slabbed
