well depends if your trying to raise the value to sell or if for pc. and then its matter of if the card is gonna get you a 9 or 10 which is what everyone chases. I can say i sent in cards with out even looking them over or prepping them and there gonna be my pc so what the grades are is what they are.

But your question can be a pretty in depth answer. alot plays into the decision to grade a card.

I realize after I asked it that it was a loaded question. I think for my PC stuff I’m gonna go through Degree. I know PSA takes a minute to get stuff back but have a couple auto’d cards I was looking to get graded for my PC or to sell if the numbers right.

Ahh okay.. Degree is nice i did an initial order. ill probably do another one when i pick some better cards.. Yeah i feel for your own collection get them incased in what looks best for you. I always feel a cards value is what someones willing to pay for it.

Yeah i feel you on the value of the card being what someones willing to pay. Cause theres always a reason the card is wanted

yeah.. and just my opinion with grading is just research more ask questions like your doing man.. Ive been told if you can get to an event where a grader is go and talk to them face to face.

So you grade for your PC. I’m not sure how I want to go with that. I do have a couple of cards I’m grading just for my PC but I can’t decide about some others. Do you display cards or not?

At the moment I do not display any cards but will be aiming to do that in the future.

I’m not sure if I like the look of a slab for display as much as a raw card. I’m sure it’s a matter of personal preference though

Yeah i know they sell the slab protectors to give the slabs more color for display cases. But if I were to display any, it would probably be in toploaders.
