Primarily, Pokémon with my son, but also myself, Wonders of the First and Neuroscape (and backed the Cyberpunk tcg on Kickstarter.) We have branched out a little and had fun with some Disney packs then come boxes of Star Trek and Game of Thrones, but more of a side fun thing than really trying to collect.

How you like wonders of the first? i keep seeing there ads to get some promo deal.

I’ve become a big fan of it – the community is a lot of fun with the game, and I like that it’s split into “play” and “collectors” rarities.

The art I really enjoy, and the 2nd set that just came out (call of the stones), coloration is richer, so pops more in my opinion. Only downside is cards can be harder to find (and sell), but it can be done and they are making more for the second so easier to get now.

You want to play the tcg, paper mythic is still possible… you want to chase serialized cool foil… or now autos, that can be a lot of fun too. (We have a stonefoil and an auto in our collection that are just awesome.)

Haha – careful, that’s how you end up with a new binder and have a bunch off for grading lol! (If you use whatnot, the wonders streams are actually the most fun/chill/friendly.)

I love Star Wars cards. I’m big on the “build your own Grail” method person. It’s so much fun to get just the right sketch card, SSP or low #d card and pair it with just the right paint pen color and get it autod, then authed and slabed. I’m getting these autod by Paul Darnell(Marrok on Ashoka), Jim Swearington(Original designer of the first Star Wars Toys), Michael Carter(Bib Fortuna from Return of the Jedi), Simon Williamson(Max Rebo in Return of the Jedi), and Howie Weed (Wampa from Empire Strikes Back) in a couple weeks at ICCCON

Some nice cards there. and i agree on the grail stuff. to me its each there own. one of my fav cards i finally got back from psa and it was a low grade and low auto grade but it was old school and pen signed. And i waiting at a game for the auto so that to me has more meaning.. Ive looked at the star wars cards and been tempting to get a box. im already down to many rabbit holes haha

It’s a fun rabbit hole. Really non sports in general, I love sketch cards as chases

Yeah definitely, I think that’s the best part about the Hobby, there’s so many different ways to enjoy it.

Anyone know anything about dragon ball cards? Grew up watching it and kind of interested in them but don’t know much and what brand to get
