So who is collecting WNBA players? who are you collecting and who are you anticipating for the up coming season?

Sonia is one of my favorites too. And you almost have to collect Caitlin and Paige because their cards hold the most value, at least so far

My goal is to have all Caitlin WNBA base versions plus all Instants from her rookie and sophomore years. So I have a BUNCH of Caitlins and have a few of her stuck at PSA being graded. I also collect several others including: A’ja, Napheesa, Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard, Alliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, Stewie, Sonia, Georgia, Dominique. And of course I hang onto any Paiges I get. I traded for this one at my first card show a couple of weeks ago

Paige is definitely a PC for me I think she could one day be the WNBA goat. I also really like Juju Watkins

I’m a big Juju fan too. I had some bids in on eBay for auto cards but they’re going for too much for me. I was hoping people kind of forgot about her since she was out for the whole past year and her autos might be more affordable.

You definitely should keep an eye out for her. Last years RotY, values starting to surpass Caitlin Clark’s. Definitely could be the WNBA goat if she keeps it up

ahh thats good.. i think alot of there players could be great and high level if the league would clean up some of the mess. I know clark has what seems to be targeted and fouled alot. And ive seen some games where it seems there is alot of racial tension going on in the womens league right now.

Bueckers and Clark are the same age. I remember their college freshman year during Covid watching them play each other as the two superstar freshmen who were predicted to be some of the best ever. That was very accurate but Bueckers had TWO major injuries, the 2nd a torn ACL, and missed most of her sophomore and junior years so she red shirted and graduated a year after Clark. It would have been interesting to see them go head to head all through college. Both are outstanding guards and could be HOF if they can stay healthy.

Awesome win for you! A numbered Bueckers Rookie card is probably going to really hold value over the years. OR you might want to sell now for the big bucks. Congrats!! Thanks for sharing it

Are you going to grade it? I’m looking at comps and this could easily be a 500 buck card. Or more!

Absolutely. I got back a /75 of the same card that was a 10 and sold it for $300. But this one I want to hold a bit unless I can use it to upgrade it to a /25 or lower or even a rookie auto

I’m sure I’d hold it because it’s such a great card. Let’s hope she stays healthy and continues to do so well. I think she’ll keep getting even better

I have a few Clarks but it’s getting expensive..

Yeah those cards get priceier the more the WNBA grows. 20 years down the road if the WNBA is close to the NBA those will be seen like Jordan rookies are seen now

NASCAR is a pretty fun rip too. Select was pretty cool

hey nothing wrong with that.. i dont follow collage football much but i did pick up a couple cards from my local town team whos probably gonna do great things..

when i do follow im a gator fan through and through. and this was from the USF local university.

I think it’s fun to collect people who grew up near us or when we have some kind of connection with them. I wish Panini would make a card of Sophie pointing. That has become so many memes that it could be a great card. But I don’t see them doing that. I’ve been a mock-up of a trading card with Sophie pointing and it looked great! I’d get one!

I have sooooooo many base cards plus a very few of the best others stuck at PSA being graded. A whole huge toploader binder stuffed with Caitlin Clark cards (my goal is to have all of her base cards including Panini Instant from at least her first two WNBA years). Here are some pics of a few pages of my toploader binders starting with a few of Clark then the next rookie class of Bueckers, Malonga, Citron.
