A&G is my favorite of this bunch. Though all probably are must-have sets for a PC so I’ll be chasing my PC guys–but likely not with ripping.
I’m wondering if there will be a Bob Ross set this year. Do you know if there will be??

As long as the vendor gives a clear answer about whether their price is firm or not I don’t mind either way because I know what the guidelines are.

Looks great! Well-organized, inviting. I really like your mission of building community. I’m seeing this as what looks like a trend around the country. People are realizing this hobby is a good way to get people together, whether online or in person.

If it were mine I’d put it in a place where I could remember I had it and set a reminder on my phone to look at the same day every year to see what the price is then. I’d make it a fun day and call it Raymond Burgos Day. Does it make more sense to have it on the first day of spring training or maybe some totally random day?? Or April 15 tax day. You could find out that day if it’s a “refund” or “owe” card that year. lol

It’s my very late-night weakness! I do pretty good during the day but let it get around midnight…

I was guessing it was at home. I’m just now realizing the format we saw our first movies in is different generationally because of technology. Seeing movies on the big screen in a theater has different impact than seeing it on your TV in your house. But I know plenty of people whose very favorite movie and the one that had big impact they first saw on a TV. And now you can have basically the theater experience at home. But it’s not the same as going out of the house to a movie. That’s more of an “occasion.” And now you can share your favorites with your kids in an almost-theater setting at home.

Do you remember which movie you saw first? And was it at home or in the theater?

Wow. I hope it’s accurate. I bet it is. Do you remember seeing your first Star Wars movie?

Won’t get an argument from me! Here’s the story that tells you just how old I am. It was the summer between my freshman and sophomore years of college right after Star Wars, yes the original, was released. I thought the movie was fabulous! It was a totally new type of movie. The stereo sound, the AMAZING technology of the scrolling text. And add the space setting, the storyline—I loved it all. I wanted to share it with my father so I took him. I was engrossed even on the second viewing, and about half way through the movie I looked over, sure he was as impressed as I was. Only to see…
He was sound asleep. Not a stir. 😂

Gotta have a plan! There’s too much otherwise. But sticking with the plan sometimes is just as big of a challenge! So much temptation. Or if you’re like me you can hit the point where you’re done. And no matter what you haven’t seen yet you are out the door. I’m not an all-day kind of shopper. Two hours max

Sometimes if you can just get yourself somewhere then 95% of the challenge is done. At least that’s how I am

50. Wow. So many 50s lately!

Where will you be able to get his signature? At a show?

I feel pretty fortunate. Probably not going to last. But very grateful for what I’ve gotten!
