I am still leaning toward bubble. BUT I’ve been wrong in the past about what I thought were bubbles in different areas.
When you go to a card show do you think most people are collectors or investors? I find that interesting. There’s a show coming up locally in August and I’m hoping to feel well enough to go. I hope to have the energy to look around some and pay attention to how people are buying to see if I can make a guess. And I wonder how often investor/collector overlaps…when someone loves the cards AND is investing big bucks with their buys

Mine are unknown because once I’ve sold a card I try not to track it at all. Don’t want that regret!

From what I’ve seen that’s a solid strategy. I’ve held on too long to some cards from those buzz-cresting rookies. Getting them graded is something I didn’t think of but feels very smart to me.

I bet a lot of folks are 50/50 themselves. I kind of started that way but have shifted mostly to what I enjoy without much thought about cards appreciating in value
