I know LOTS of divided households. I think that makes it fun. Well, unless someone takes it a little too seriously

Do you have a Texas connection? I see most of your teams are there

Braves and Orioles, UGA (I’m an alum), and oddly the NE Patriots. I always rooted against them but love Vrabel…he converted me. I usually root for underdogs in whatever game I’m watching. I’m happy that baseball season is here because I’m retired and can watch lots of games

That’s how I see them. I enjoy buying in and watching the breaks

It might have been an article on the MLB site. He’s been friends with Reece Blankenship since they were in high school. I can’t share the link here but it’s a great article. This quote from the article says so much: “Matt and I have connected on a different plane,” Reece writes. “We each see the deeper being.” Would that we ALL could do that!

Nice! I especially like your Trevor Lawrence cards. One of my friend’s family vacationed with Trevor’s family so I recognized him from social media when he went to Clemson. I didn’t know he was a football star until then

I recognize some of those cards from my collection, too. Cool to see you have them too

So you grade for your PC. I’m not sure how I want to go with that. I do have a couple of cards I’m grading just for my PC but I can’t decide about some others. Do you display cards or not?

That’s exactly my take about breaks. I see it as playing the lottery and at least am getting some cards. And when I play the lottery and don’t win I get nothing. And when I buy into a break of a favorite team I’m getting cards I’d buy anyway where if I buy boxes I get more base cards for players I don’t really care about than cards I want to collect. I really do think when I buy into random team breaks it’s a lottery ticket

I can tell this is new and would like to see it take off

I’m not sure if I like the look of a slab for display as much as a raw card. I’m sure it’s a matter of personal preference though

That’s how I’m looking at it. Even in when I go for a random team I’ve gotten some cards I can sell to my local hobby shop, get something I want, and break even (or almost)

I’m enjoying this so far and can see a lot of potential. I’m glad I stumbled across it
