Pictures and prices would for sure help with the sale.

Card shows are great. The more you attend, the easier it is to make a game plan and to know which dealers are the best to work with. I have dealers I go to shows just to see and when I’m a dealer I have people coming to my table first as they know its always an easy transaction. For sure take a good look at everything (especially more expensive stuff). It’s easier to pass on the card at the table compared to trying to come back and hope the dealer makes it right.

MemberJanuary 27, 2026 at 3:25 pm in reply to: 2025 Football Auto/Jersey/Number SaleThat’s all for today. I will be back with more this week. All cards should be pretty close to comps but everything is OBO.

This is the best case. I have been sending cards for grading for over 5 years now and it has become one of my favorite parts of the hobby. I enjoy the hunt of looking for clean cards and getting them graded. I also think it is the best way to make money in the hobby but PSA is making that a lot harder. I have so many graded PSA cards, I really don’t want anything else because I like the look of them being all the same.

This is so true. You have to kind of think 4 to 5 months out on what may happen with that player or sport to see if it makes sense. I have a big stack I was planning on sending (the price jump is making me pull some back) that are pretty much all football so at least I will still have them back before the pre-season hype!

Wow you have it way worse than me! My oldest is from December and I had a submission from September that came back a month ago or so. It’s really unfortunate and leaves every in the hobby limited choices.

No problem! Just keep going and learning from each show. You will figure out what works best for you and help with a game plan going forward.
