MemberApril 5, 2026 at 8:03 am in reply to: Is the hobby becoming too overpriced for average collectorsI’m not sure I agree with this. There are price levels for all collectors with different budgets. There isn’t a rule that your collection has to be worth a certain amount or have high end cards only. Of course, everyone would love to have the craziest cards possible, but you can still have fun collecting in your budget.

I do! I mainly only collect the 2020 Topps Chrome (first year). I do have a 2022 Topps Chrome Lewis Hamilton Auto. That is the best card in my F1 collection.

I had AZ and Duke in the finals. This has been the best bracket I have had as I am in the 98.9 percentile.

That kind of stuff is more for kids. Retail hits are quite minimal usually so why even do that.
I have never seen a show that does not allow wagons. I can see not allowing them if it you are pulling a wagon filled with your cards or sealed products but banning them when needed for kids is crazy.
I was at a show last weekend and overall they are just too busy these days. Which is great, but not so much fun for shopping. A lot of tables I couldn’t even get to and the isles are always jammed. Makes it hard to enjoy.

Great case! I love the MagPro. I use them with my custom label for my better PC cards.

Good luck! Let us know how you do.

MemberMarch 29, 2026 at 5:48 pm in reply to: Q Seeking advice for getting the right size magnetic case for thicker cardsIf the budget allows, I usually try to order a few of each and/or have some of every size on hand. That way you are set regardless of the card size. It’s hard to know what size you will need when you don’t have the card on hand.

I usually try to have some kind of plan to follow. I realize if I don’t, then I get kind of lazy and don’t put in the effort I should. Generally, I end up having to change the plan depending on the flow of the show.
