Came home today from my 2 day conference and was greeted with some new cards to add to the collection. The cards I had purchased from @yofallon had arrived safe and sound and packaged very well. Would definitely buy from again.

Congrats! Having that sketch card is very cool all on it’s own, but adding the Auto and having the provenance to go with the original sketch really puts it over the top. Good luck adding the other signature in the near future. Is the plan to have it signed in red? Definitely a true 1/1. Nice pickups on the others as well, but that sketch card is really the star of the show for sure.

Looks like the dust settled at 8.04 MILLION dollars.
Pretty hefty price tag for someone without any major accomplishments, but when it’s billionaires fighting over bragging rights, this is what you get.
Geoff Wilson put out a podcast defending the number, and had some fair points in doing so, but still seems a bit steep, even if it’s the ultra-rich fighting for the right to wear it in a gaudy chain courtside next season.

I do this all the time. Not just with cards, but with anything I collect. Most times it will be something that reminds me of my wife, kids, parents, or something from my youth.
Speaking of, I need to go find an Alex Trebek Card for my PC to remind my of my son….

I’m a sucker for the 2006 Fleer E-X basketball set. Cards are beautiful in hand, plus it has a great list and is relatively small. Currently working on completing the set.
E-X has so many great base sets. 1996, 1998, 2001

If it’s from the 90s, anything under 1,000 is intersting to me. Ultra Modern? Needs to be pretty low numbered for me to care. Exception might be something like a Caleb williams color match rookie umbered to 299 or 399. In those cases, I still find them worth looking for, but mostly needs to be under 100 to even make it matter

There is nobody that i would feel the need to collect every card. Even with MJ, i probably have around 1,000 cards, but have no desire to attempt to collect them all. I do track my collection in an app so I can quickly check to see if i have a copy of a particular card already.

That does it for my inaugural claim sale. Hope you enjoyed the selection. As I stated in the opening post, I will let this set until Wednesday in case anyone hasn’t had a chance to see the sale this weekend. Also, I will be out of town for a conference and back home Wednesday.
If you are for sure done looking and would like to message me, I can get you a total and we can square up. If we finalize tonight, I should be able to get you packed and tracked this evening and can have it mailed out Monday. If not, I will reach out to everyone Wednesday evening with totals.

just went on the website to check them out. Definitely some cool ones. The GPK is cool. I like the use of popular IPs as long as it doesn’t “jump the shark” so to speak. Wasn’t a big fan of the minions, but the Tecmo Bowl the did a bit back and the GPK are pretty cool.
