i dont think that will mess with there card values to much. since its not someone getting injured. i do think there will be just the usually flux in value the whole up and down depending on the day. But we will see as i to dont know what happen during the last lockout with cards

have not heard of this.. course im not apart of alot of newsletters or things that let me know whats coming out or being created
-
its hard to say if this is lasting or just a moment in time.. i think its like shohei market where it was skyrocketing and it still is but i think it hit a little flat line when he wasnt playing due to injury and resting and they were deciding if to utalize him more as a hitter or as a batter.

oh that is true and with vintage its more of the not many copys or certain cards have survived or been held on to in those conditions.. theres alot of really messed up ones that dont grade or probably a 1 but i feel even those would sell for thousands. We for sure do mass produce to much now unless its the numbered or parralles which they didnt really have back then.. its was mostly base and rc cards and some unique cards. Obviously we know with cards who the player is does really play the importance in things in the hobby.

honestly for pc i have used degree grading. have looked at tag but they also have closed up there value grading like psa and some others have done. cgc seems to be getting alot of love to. The whole mess with psa is they did it to them self and i dont think they should be sitting on that much value in cards. peoples cards are literally just sitting in boxes in a warehouse.

thats why id look into some other graders like debree or tag or something.. degree isnt that bad on price. and they recently add where you can pic your color or colors of your label.
-
i feel ya.. i mean even back then sometimes you didnt even know you had a sp or ssp. then find out it is and its more valuable. and some rookie cards didnt even say rc on them
-
yeah. the exclusives are nice. and they have slowly gotten better but could do more and maybe one day will. just adult collector trying to be a kid and ripping retail haha
-
yeah cgc is ligit. i have some cards that where graded by them.. and i have heard pokemon seems to be good with them or many send of to them for grading.
-
if where go based on value besides psa then it would be like beckett and cgc for the value if im guessing.. the rest are more gonna be finding the right buyer.
-
thats what i feel as well. we will see
-
ill have to go check it out.. google here i come haha

yeah.. i mean if you want some autos i would say look at leaf products. they do so many cards with autos and such. you want very cool sports cards with images and such wildcard makes great cards.
-
that is true.. i mean we could have that if topps and the others purposely did that for a bit. stop over printing and do a little grass roots printing and give that feel they had back in the day. rack packs and well not saying sell cards with cigarettes like they use to or used them to advertise that. but yeah for sure we are not looking at base cards like we use too. now its all the numbered and variations and the autos and so forth
-
yeah they are and well we all know retail is more of a hit or miss compared to hobby. i feel they need to balance it more but thats a debate long for the ages
