So you were an “early adopter.” It’s good when you can get in on the ground floor

Fascinating that Pokemon caused the boom. I’ll follow that page on Instagram. I find all of this very interesting. I don’t collect Pokemon but have a friend who just started. I’m wondering if the Covid time of not going out sent more people into card collecting/trading/flipping

I’m especially liking the Hunter Greene and the Skenes. Don’t think you can go wrong with any Skenes

Holliday’s a nice card. He’s one I enjoy collecting to a lesser extent. I did buy a rookie bobblehead kind of as an investment hoping he makes it big

Thanks a bunch! This is super helpful for me. I don’t like my mags and slabs getting scratched and didn’t know about sleeves for them. I’m a big fan of the Zion Mag-Pro cases because I think they look great and give excellent protection. I’m trying to get all of my best ungraded cards into those. Will the sleeves affect the stackability of the MagPro case? That’s another reason I like the MagPro—that they fit together so well.

I’d like a future video on what sets fit what point top loaders and mags. I have several relic cards and am just guessing when I order mags. I keep getting the wrong sizes, typically too small. It would be so helpful for me to have a source of point sizes. Like how many points certain relic cards are. How many points for chromes? For basic Heritage? For Museum Collection, City Connect relic, Allen & Ginter framed, etc. The thicker cards. Or are there WAY too many to be able to compile something helpful??

You were a Skenes fan before everyone else got on board 🙂

I’m now following that page. If you have other Insta pages you recommend I’d love a list. Maybe even a video taking about the different social media sites that could be helpful to us collectors?

I was wondering if there was something about the loader that was connected with Allen & Ginter. But after talking with my hobby shop guy and y’all here I don’t think believe that

I’m glad y’all are sharing other graders you’ve tried. It helps me in considering them and having an idea what to expect. Thanks for the recs!

But I’ve gotten quite a few cards that have come from Vegas and never had this effect. Lately I’ve had weird things happen with cards in the mail. More than the last few years put together. But the dark top loader I can’t figure out at all. Have you ever seen one like that??

I have a couple of Zion cases. The XL I won from y’all and the other is smaller.

4-6 months! Wow. They’re really grading a LOT of cards apparently. I’m guessing grading cards has really taken off
