I have one bet in place waiting for the outcome of a season to see how I did. But it worries me how EASY it is to bet. I had to drive into another state because betting is illegal here, but a legal betting state is just a few miles from me so that wasn’t a problem. I think lots and lots of people are in big trouble because online betting is so easy. And you can bet on literally ANYTHING. It’s right there on your phone. Too too easy.

I especially like that you’re having it at a school. AND not charging admission. Kudos to you! I see you’re not terribly far from The Villages. Surely I know someone there, right?? But I can’t think of a single one!

I just flipped to the game and see I’m a YEAR BEHIND. hahahaha not unusual for me to be off a year or two or three or more! They’re back in the stadium that got basically blown away by the hurricane

If the Rays were to win it all and not even have their own stadium that would be a great story of overcoming obstacles. That in itself makes me root for them in the American League

I would find it hard to hike a football to the perfect place without even looking and with a behemoth of a man waiting to plow over me as soon as I let go of the ball. And as a kicker, yeah, that whole scenerio would be hard too!

I wouldn’t have even thought of that position as being one of the hardest. I think a lot depends on how much knowledge you have about the sports and requirements. It’s likely that each sport and position is super hard at the world-class levels. Every time an announcer says hitting a major league pitcher is the hardest I always wonder why it seems some people don’t really seem to find it that hard. I think we tend to think whatever sport we played is the hardest lol

Yep that’s always true no matter what we think. It’s fun to watch the process of some team making it the whole way. When I think about last year it’s pretty stunning how Toronto was nothing like the same team this year. They played so well and made the AL and World Series must-watch last year.
