Loyal bears fan here! I’m a buy on Caleb. If he can have a strong year, he’s going to have the full hype machine behind him. He’s already got the madden cover, there’s guys like cowherd throwing MVP predictions around. If they take the north and Caleb is in the mvp race (I, know, big if) I think his cards could really shoot up. None of the 2024 class has really established themselves as “the guy” in the new generation of qbs. Caleb could be that guy. End of homer rant, lol.
I think Maye is a sell. I think he’s good, but was fortunate with the way the schedule played out last year. I think he has a solid year but falls a bit short of expectations.
If I had Dart in my collection, I’d be holding to see how he returns to the field. Until there is more data, I’m just waiting to see.

Thanks mostly to my father, I have acquired a rather large collection of memorabilia. We’re talking dozens of signed helmets. Maybe 100 plus signed jerseys. Some nicely framed jerseys. Many baseballs, footballs, basketballs, boxing gloves, celebrity autos, etc. it’s all a bit overwhelming, and I don’t currently have the room to display 90% of it. We were big bears, bulls, white Sox and boxing fans. Multiple items by pretty much any Chicago bear you could want. Tons of bulls and guys like Shaq, Larry, magic, and countless others. Everything is authenticated by a reputable source (PSA, JSA, Beckett, Tri-Star). It’s basically my inheritance. Dad is still around, but he just gave it all to me to hold. Here are a few pics

Here is the Jackie. Couldn’t be happier. This thing looks amazing in hand. Color and registration is absolutely amazing and the surface still has a fresh sheen. One of the top 100 examples of this card in existence in an SGC slab. 2500+ graded, but only 91 higher. Top 4%. Here is the link to the sgc cert verification to see high res scans.

I actually knocked my goal card off my list at nationals today. Absolutely beautiful example of the 1953 Topps Jackie Robinson. The color is amazing and am very happy to own it.

Those are sweet, man! I’ve been picking up some Maddux stuff here and there. I think he’s super undervalued in the market. 90s is starting to move and pitchers are getting a little more love these days. I think he’s going to creep up.

I really think this is going to be a space in the hobby that starts to grow rapidly in the near future. Slabbed packs of iconic sets and signed packs are going to really take off soon, imo.

Thanks, man! These are pretty out of date, and the collection has gotten too big to be honest, lol. Shifted focus to cards, which doesn’t take up as much room….yet

Really just depends on the card. Some stuff I wouldn’t touch raw, like a Jordan RC or Vintage baseball. Most things, I prefer raw, but willing to look at slabs.
