I’m very much like you. I prefer binders because I can flip through and look at my cards and asked about binders for slabs in a post but haven’t gotten replies. My more valuable cards are in mags or or slabs in cases. I’d love a way to flip through and look at them too. Getting out a big case isn’t as easy as pulling out a binder.

I don’t like the clip-in binders like from school and use these instead. I have a giant zip one with all cards in toploaders but it’s SO heavy. It does let me flip through and look at cards, though. So far I have not found what I’d consider to be the ideal storage/display situation for me.

Oh yeah, making that much on a card is sure an incentive to sell

Added some more this week. Now to decide how far I want to go…which is actually deciding how much money I want to spend on the more expensive variants…

Thanks a bunch! I find this super helpful. And the timing is great because I’m just about to send my first set where I decide myself. Last time I asked for advice at my hobby shop.

This is the kind of thing I was hoping to learn at this site. I really appreciate having your insights.

I did buy a Leaf 1/1 and have a handful of not-Topps or Panini cards that I like the look of. But I definitly lean toward Topps first and then Panini

He had an amazing career. I got really spoiled by the Braves in the mid 1990s

I was just looking at Chipper autos. Thinking I’d like to have one, preferably a rookie, partially because I got to go to a cookout with his single-A team when he was 18 years old. I had NO idea he’d be a HOF player. He was just a rookie who was making lots of errors at short

Thanks! Yes, this first submission will be a good experiment to see how well I can choose cards likely to get high grades. I know it’s something you can develop an eye for. Or I’d expect it would be

I’m about to apply the advice from Mike’s video to see which of the cards I’ve narrowed it down to are in the best shape. How long have you been collecting seriously? You have a lot of knowledge.

I keep seeing my hobby shop share Leaf hits on their social media and have thought the same thing. For my PC Leaf might honestly be a better way to get autos

That’s what I’m trying to decide. Do I really want to spend money on grading for my PC? Especially cards that aren’t “special” to me. Probably not unless I REALLY like the look of the Degree slab
