Okay, now I’m definitely taking the Bobby Witt Jr. prediction seriously 😂. You’ve got a 1-for-1 track record with Rory, so clearly we need to respect the vision.
If Witt ends up having the kind of career people expected when he was drafted, you’re going to look like a genius for this post. And if not… we’ll blame the baseball-card algorithm for interfering with the prophecy. 😆

That’s a great example of one of those collecting lessons you only have to learn once 😂. You actually recognized the card had something special going for it, you just waited. The “I’ll grab it later” cards are dangerous because sometimes later gets a LOT more expensive. At least you eventually got the Strider, so the lesson didn’t cost you forever!

Yeah exactly. Kids finding a monster card like that would be such a cool story. Most of the time it seems like the big pulls end up going straight into the hands of serious collectors or investors.

Yeah, that’s the weird part of cards at that level. Once you’re talking six or seven figures, it almost stops feeling like a collectible and becomes an investment piece. Would be pretty cool if something that big somehow ended up with a collector who genuinely just loves the card.

That’s a pretty solid lineup. Dak and Hurts feel like the safer plays, but Nabers is the one I’d be most interested in if you can get in before he really takes off.

Yeah, I could definitely see all three getting interesting. Cam Ward especially feels like a guy who could benefit from being compared to Nix and Maye less. And I like the Tre Tucker call picking up autos and patches before everyone catches on is exactly how you want to do it.

Those actually came out of a break that was 3 Breaker’s Delights and 2 Hobbies, so 13 autos in the break. It was wild!

It’s because Topps took over the license in April so they are running out as much 2025 stuff before 2026 Flagship drops and the transition to 2026 stuff

😂 That’s probably the best way to describe it. It’s basically a card break where you know you’re getting something, but you still get that “what am I gonna hit?” feeling. I can definitely see why it gets addictive.
