Yeah, total fail by PSA on both counts. 🙂
With the stoppage they’ve been under, you might have to just count yourself lucky that you got them back at all? I’ve never submitted to them, but I don’t know if I will now. It’s too bad that they have such a stranglehold on the market for graded cards.

As a child of the 90s, I PC Jordan. I’ve got a fair amount of mid to mid-late (1990-1996 ish) cards. I’d be all over the Jordan of the three. All are pretty good pickups. If it were for my PC, the Jordan. For chance at a good grade and flip? Probably the Baker first.

I could see Kyler Murray cards getting a bit of a bump if he holds on to the starter position and does well.
I’m a fan of Tre Tucker for the Raiders and I’ve been quietly picking up autos and patches of his for a couple of years.

I really liked last year’s resurgence set. This one looks even better. I may have to see if I can get a booster or two of it. I probably would have the last time I was in my local TCG, but someone had literally cleaned him out an hour before I got there.
Also, that Jeanty auto is fire.

MemberAugust 7, 2026 at 9:52 pm in reply to: How do you feel about LIVE buying and selling?Buying: It’s fun. It can be a cool way to get access to product that I can’t get locally. It can quickly get out of hand and expensive as there are plenty of other people around that will bid it up and you’ll find yourself paying higher than comp. Or you get into a break and get nothing, but people are paying big dollar to try and hit those case hits.
Selling: You’ve got to have a following to do well. When you’re first starting out on it, it’s hard to get your money out of it. I’ve done a few and most of them I’ve either lost a bit or broke even. Maybe someday I’ll make money on them but it seems like it’s very hit or miss and you’ve got to be on the edge of the market in order to get the most people in the stream.

I stopped collecting about 1998 or 1999, and didn’t pick it back up until about 2 years ago. Totally missed the Kobe era. Not a huge Lakers fan anyways, but he was such a good player. And the Magic haven’t really done much of anything since 1998 so not much fun to collect there either.

If there’s one thing that I don’t care for about this set it’s that it’s such a late release for last season. Like, why is Geno Smith still on a Raiders card? And why is Tet McMillan card still a RC when I’m sitting here watching preseason games for his second season?
I guess I just wish they’d make it an early release for the new season rather than a really late release for last year.

Yeah, when they created the list, I noticed it and opened a ticket but never got a response at all. -1 for customer service I guess. I’ll probably reach out again. The back of the card says 2026, but I’m pretty sure its technically the 2025 set, just series 2.

Yeah, the one detractors for me is they mislabeled the mendoza as a 2024 when it should be a 2025 or 2026. But, I dont know how much of an issue that is for a pc card.

Yeah, I literally did like i would my glasses, a little hot breath to fog and then a nice wipe with the cloth. No other sprays or chems.

Im not a Barnum and Bailey sort of guy, so I tend to just stay nice and reserved and thats what I usually look for in the sellers I follow.

I like the ones that genuinely seem to care for people and care to be good members of the community. Like if you start yelling, I just leave.

He’s always seemed like he had a ton of potential, but never really made anything of it. But they keep paying him. Maybe Harbaugh will get that figured out. But, again, I’m OK if he doesn’t.
