I’m not complaining about the Raiders being 3-0, but it would be sort of nice if they’d just win one in a dominant fashion rather than making it a close one every week.

At the professional level, I’m totally fine with it. You’re getting paid money to play the game and to perform at a certain level. If you’re not getting there, you’re probably going to hear about it. We’d get the same at our jobs, right?
At the amateur level, I’ve seen it and I don’t think that’s the place. College is a bit of an odd thing now cause some of the kids get paid, but I still consider that to be amateur.

I’ve bought into the last three sets of BoBA with mixed results. I did OK in the Griffey set, but mostly because I only really opened one double mega and just held the hobby boxes for a while then sold on the market. I did the opposite with Tecmo and did a Whatnot break for the Hobby and have held onto the double megas so far. I was a bit short on the hobby, and may just sell the sealed double megas to try and get some money out of them. They don’t seem to be doing much on breaks.
I’ve got a hobby of Mahomes coming as well, so we’ll see what I decide to do with that. Of them all, it seems the dropoff after release is the sharpest with this. Pricing is good in the first few months, then drops like a rock.

I think the Panthers game was sort of an anomaly. I do however think that the Bears are probably one of the teams to beat in the NFC this year. None of the other NFC north teams are really looking too good (although the Vikings are leading 6-3 as I write this) and as long as the Bears stay some what consistent, they should end up at the top of the division and be a shoe-in for the playoffs.

I think it would have to be something entertainment related. Maybe some TV or Movie related autos. Or some Garbage Pail kids for nostalgia reasons.

That’s pretty sweet! I ended up getting a case of toploaders with sleeves. They’re a little less photogenic than the backpack, but will look very nice when I get some cards into them.

I picked up the 2026 Leaf Anime Nation Fernando Mendoza. Sent it off to Degree for grading and got a 9 on it. Will look nice in my PC for sure.

I used to love watching Alstott play. Him and Ritchie for the Raiders were the prototype big fullbacks in their day. Just give them the ball or run behind them and run everyone over.

The process itself was relatively easy. It *was* and exercise in patience though. Took forever to get a response from them and then just as long to get the prepaid label to send it back. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how fast the correction has gone.

Some of the new Chrome GPK look pretty sweet.
My friend @olomax bought some Star Trek cards and hit a Jean Luc Picard Auto which is pretty freaking sweet. I might chase some of the Star Trek Magic cards as well as a trekkie.

I did not customize the color. I sent it off before that was a thing. Then when it came back it had the wrong year on the tag so it’s currently back with Degree for corrections. Should be headed back to me soon and I’ll post pics when it arrives.

Yeah, no argument there. Everything that goes into my PC gets toploaded at the least so I go through a fair amount of them. Will certainly come in handy.

I’ve used Degree multiple times. It’s great for grading for PC, but it doesn’t compete with PSA or BGS for resale. It’s generally more affordable though, so I still send stuff for my PC all the time.

Yeah, if it’s an inactive player, it makes sense in-season. But, I think most of those it’s still going to be better to send them so they hopefully finish up off-season for lower upcharges. Not only that, but so that you have them graded and ready to go if you plan on selling them when the season is in full swing.

Not very much. There’s a couple floating around the league. I am pretty stoked that the Raiders are running with one again after quite a few years without one. I just really like the power running idea; we’re gonna run it at you, so stop us.
